Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Daher Dental website. The short version: the site itself collects almost nothing, and your health information is handled at the practice, not here.

What this site collects

The site has no account system. It has two forms: the appointment request on the New Patient page, and the new patient forms. When you press send on either, what you typed is emailed to the practice so the front desk can contact you and prepare your visit. A copy is held on our hosting provider only until that email is delivered; for the new patient forms, the health details are then deleted and only your name is kept. Your Social Security number is never sent online. It only appears on a copy you print yourself. The site also remembers your theme choice, light or dark, which stays in your own browser.

The on-page assistant

The question-and-answer assistant on the home and FAQ pages runs entirely in your browser. Your questions are not sent to a server, stored, or read by anyone. Please still avoid typing health details into it; for anything personal, call the office.

Embedded services

Two parts of the site come from other companies. The map on the home page is provided by Google Maps, and online booking is provided by TeamCare, the practice’s scheduling system. When you use them, those services may collect information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

Your health information

Patient health information is never handled by this website. It is protected at the practice under federal law (HIPAA). The practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices explains how that information is used and protected; ask the front desk for a copy at any visit.
